Antioch shooting – Naked gun maniac on the run after killing three in attack at Tennessee Waffle House

THREE people have been shot dead by a naked gunman who opened fire with a high-powered rifle at a Waffle House in Tennessee.

Police were called to the restaurant in Antioch, near Nashville, at around 3.30am local time (9.30am UK time) this morning.

The shooter - described as a white male with short hair- brandished an AR-15 rifle and fled the scene after gunning down diners.

Police confirmed he was naked at the time of the shooting and is now on the run. Eye-witness reports suggest he was wearing a green jacket with nothing underneath.

A diner bravely wrestled his weapon from him to bring an end to the shooting.

The Waffle House is on a large retail complex on Murfreesboro Pike on the outskirts of the neighbourhood.
